Description
"Blood on the sun: an American editor working in Japan between WWI and WWII investigates the murder of a fellow reporter and his wife. Meanwhile, he discovers the villainous Tanaka Plan, a Japanese plot for world domination. Realizing that his life is also in danger, he gets the help of a beautiful Japanese-American spy ; Time of your life: a trashy San Francisco waterfront bar sets the stage for a cast of misfits, including ex-convicts and a variety of down-and-out characters. Cagney plays the central character, a philosophizing, alcoholic ringleader who doles out sincere, heartfelt words of advice and inspiration"--Container.
